Tyres and Brakes

Always ensure your vehicle is in top condition — particularly the tyres and brakes.

Weather conditions can change quickly, and poor maintenance can dramatically reduce safety.

  • Check tyre condition and pressure regularly.

  • Tyres should have adequate tread, be free from damage, and inflated correctly.

  • Uneven wear could indicate a mechanical fault — get it checked immediately.

  • Use winter or all-season tyres where appropriate.

Remember: A few millimetres of tread can be the difference between control and a skid.

Keep your brakes regularly serviced. Even good brakes take longer to stop on wet or slippery roads.
