Daily Vehicle Checks
Before driving, make sure your vehicle is safe and road-ready:

Windscreen, windows, and mirrors are clean

All lights (including brake and indicator lights) are working

Brakes function properly
It’s wise to carry spare bulbs and fuses.
Periodic Checks
Regularly inspect and top up:

Engine oil

Coolant (radiator or expansion tank)

Brake fluid

Battery (if not maintenance-free)

Windscreen washer bottles
Also check that tyres are:

Legal — correct tread depth and no cuts or bulges

Properly inflated
