For this project, get in the 'instructor seat' whilst a family member or friend is driving. 

Get in the car and complete your instructor's cockpit drill.

For around 10 minutes, watch the driver as you have seen in the video examples in this unit. Look for their specific actions.

Copy the table into your workbook and write down what you have noticed about your driver.

 

| Did the driver check their mirrors? Give examples good and bad. |   |

| Did the driver signal? Give examples good and bad. |   |
| Did the driver change position? Give examples good and bad. |   |
| Did the driver change their speed? Give examples good and bad. |   |
| Did the driver change their gear? Give examples good and bad. |   |
| Did the driver 'look'? Give examples good and bad. |   |
| Did the driver notice I was watching them? How did they feel? |   |
