UNIT 2 - IN-CAR PREP
WHAT TO EXPECT
In Exercise 1, you will discuss the subject with your Trainer, so please watch the videos and make notes in your Workbook so that you can use this when identifying your needs and goals with your trainer.

UNIT 2 - IN-CAR PREP - EXERCISE 2
EXAMPLE 1
Mike and Adam demonstrate the 'Step 1' exercise you will complete during the In-Car session.
Step 1: Mike Recaps Adam’s previous knowledge to establish some 'known' and 'unknown' elements and identify some learning needs.
EXAMPLE 2
Mike and Adam demonstrate the 'Step 2' exercise you will complete during the In-Car session.
Step 2: Mike breaks the 'Jobs' down, uses 'Job Sharing' with Adam. to agree who is responsible for each of the 'Jobs'.
EXAMPLE 3
Mike and Adam demonstrate the 'Step 3 and 4' exercises you will complete during the In-Car session.
Step 3: Mike 'Does the Job'; delivering the level of help agreed and 'Watches the Learner'.
Step 4: Mike 'Elicits Feedback', and 'Adapts the Lesson' as a new learning Need has been identified.
Watch how Mike then easily loops back to 'Step 1' and starts the process again...
EXAMPLE 4
Mike and Adam demonstrate the 'Step 5' exercise you will complete during the In-Car session.
In this video, having completed a number of 'Move off and Stops', we see the final step of the Mini Lesson - Reflection.
